Hydratedlime

Hydrated Lime is also known as calcium hydroxide {Ca(OH)2} is a refined mineral product. Calcium oxide is stoichiometric ally reacted with water in a controlled process to form a hydrated lime product that has the consistency of a fine white powder containing less than 1% residual moisture.

Calcium Oxide + Water = Calcium Hydroxide + Heat
{CaO} + {H2O} = {Ca(OH)2}

Hydrated Lime products are typically used in chemical manufacturing, water and waste water treatment, acid neutralization other environmental applications.

Hydrated lime plays a major role in construction applications for mortar and stucco applications, as a soil stabilizing materials and as an anit-strip additive in asphalt.

Hydrated lime has applications as a sorbent in flue gas treatment (for the control of SO2 and SO3 emissions) applications.

Hydrated Lime is available to be shipped via rail or truck.
Hydrated Lime is also available in 50# bags packaged or special packaging and/or bulk bags.
